Description of
the School
The École Schulz was founded in Geneva,
by Eric and Anne Schulz in 1943. It has more now 67 years experience in the teaching of languages and
commercial studies. Since 1977, it has been run by Dr.
H. Bunde.
As a day-school for boys and girls
from the age of 15 (having finished their compulsory
education) and adults, the École Schulz offers a
thorough training in the fields of foreign languages,
commercial studies and computing.
The school offers special intensive
courses for non-native French speakers leading to the
Certificates and Diplomas of the
DELF (Diplôme d'Études
en Langue
Française).
The École Schulz is
the first in Geneva to have
obtained the authorization of the Federal Office in
Berne (OFFT), for more than 30 years, to prepare
students with great success for the Federal
Examination of Commercial and Office Clerks.
Since 2008, the École Schulz is
recognised as an accredited, official ECDL
(European
Computer
Driving
Licence) Test
Centre. The ECDL Syllabus is
unique, being entirely vendor-independent and regularly
updated to reflect recent technological advances.
Already a worldwide standard, it also complies with the
directives of the European Commission.
Naturally, students can prepare,
depending on their level, the First Certificate in
English, the Advanced English and the Proficiency
examination of the University of Cambridge.
